Principal investigator for over $600,000 in User Engineering and Rapid Prototyping IR&D projects.

Research project was to develop the user interface to a new video control system which allows crew members to configure audio and video equipment to record and view events, and to downlink events from the Space Shuttle to the ground.

Summer, 1993: NASA/ASEE Summer Faculty Fellowship: Selected for research award at Johnson Space Center, Flight Crew Support Division, Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory.

Research project was to evaluate the manner in which non-routine maintenance procedures are developed for Space Station, and to design and evaluate the HCI to an automated system (MILP) to assist in this process.
